Amsonia hubrichtii

This plant typically grows in clumps, reaching 2 to 3 feet tall and wide, and forms an attractive, bushy mound. Arkansas Bluestar thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils, showing good drought tolerance once established. It requires moderate watering, especially during its first growing season, but is adaptable to a range of moisture conditions. In autumn, its foliage turns a brilliant golden-yellow, adding multi-season interest to gardens.
