Saucer Magnolia

Saucer Magnolia (Magnolia x soulangeana) is a deciduous tree or large shrub known for its striking, tulip-shaped pink and white flowers that bloom in early spring. It typically grows 15–25 feet tall and wide, forming a rounded crown. Saucer Magnolia thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. It has moderate water needs, especially during establishment, but is relatively low-maintenance once mature. This plant is best sited in a sheltered location to protect its early blooms from late frosts.
