Spirea alba

Meadowsweet (Spiraea alba) is a perennial shrub that typically grows 3 to 6 feet tall and produces clusters of small white flowers from June to September. It thrives in moist to wet soils and is commonly found in swamps, wet meadows, and along shorelines. Meadowsweet prefers full sun but can tolerate part shade and even some shade. It has medium water needs and does best in areas that remain consistently moist. This plant is valued for its attractive blooms and ability to support pollinators.
