Blue Arrow Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum 'Blue Arrow') is a narrow, upright evergreen shrub known for its striking blue-green foliage and columnar growth habit. It typically reaches heights of 12-15 feet with a spread of only 2-3 feet, making it ideal for tight spaces or as a vertical accent in landscapes. This juniper thrives in full sun but can tolerate part shade, and it prefers dry to moderately moist soils with excellent drainage. Blue Arrow Juniper is highly drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal watering, making it suitable for xeriscaping and low-maintenance gardens. It also has a high tolerance for alkaline soils and is resistant to many pests and diseases. Its dense, upright form provides year-round interest and can serve as a privacy screen or windbreak.
